As the janitorial services provider for many facilities, we are presently accepting resumes for the position of Sanitation Technicians.

Primary Functions:    

 

Under the direction of the Lead/Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for commercial buildings and related areas. Superior customer service will be provided, as well company policies and procedures followed at all times. Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and techniques are essential this position.
 


Responsibilities:

Vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, dusting, washing and mopping of assigned areas.

Clean and sanitize restrooms.

Restock supplies.

Empty trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as needed.

Clean windowsills, windows, blinds, countertops, partitions and mirrors.

Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.

Clean baseboards, doors and frames.

General maintenance of grounds.

Loads and unloads supplies, moves heavy furniture and equipment using, dollies, handcarts or using team lift.

May perform ground maintenance including debris removal from parking lots and sidewalks.

Order supplies according to guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and standards.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good customer service skills.

Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.

Ability to work effectively with a team, as well as independently.

Ability to meet and lead other to meet schedules and timelines.

Ability to train and provide work directions to others.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

  • Minimum of six months or more related experience

 

  • Candidate must have a valid driver's license

 

  • Reliable transportation

 

  • Professional appearance and mannerism

 

  • Speak, write and comprehend English

 

  • Ability to pass an extensive background check, drug screen (including hair follicle), obtain an FBI Fingerprint Card clearance and agree to random drug screens throughout employment

 

  • Must pass E-Verify​


 

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking and climbing stairs, twisting, bending and squatting is required.

Lifting of less than 50lbs is required. Items over fifty pounds will require team lift.

Available Shifts:

Part- Time: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM Monday - Friday - (East Valley) Saturday and Sunday varies as needed. 

 

 

Salary:

 
Salary dependent on competencies and experience
